Another addition in the series of people with winged fingers I have been creating for a decade now which includes In Flight, Sun Dive, and Learning to Fly. I was thinking this is that young one waiting in the wings from Learning to Fly all grown up finally lifted off into the air. I don't know if I'll ever be done with these characters I may make more of them as time goes on.

The extended human anatomy of these creatures is fascinating to me with the wings extending from the fingers and toes I sort of wonder every time I make them just how fragile those winged digits really are. Otherwise they seem to me like such a natural extension of the body. 

Like sailors of old could imagine mermaids and mermen which were fish featured I think of them as perhaps aireomaids and aireomen--being mythical humanoids with functional bird like features instead.
